Osimhen Focused on Success in Galatasaray: “We Want to Win Every Match”

Victor Osimhen may not have scored on his Galatasaray debut, but he made an immediate impact with an assist in their dominant victory against Rizespor.

The Nigerian striker, on loan from Napoli for the season, wasted no time showing his commitment to the Turkish side. Eager to impress the home fans, Osimhen played a pivotal role in securing a convincing 5-0 win for Galatasaray.

Galatasaray took control early in the match, scoring twice before halftime. While Osimhen didn’t get on the scoresheet, his assist for one of the goals highlighted his influence on the game.

Expressing his dedication to the club, Osimhen emphasized his desire to give his best for the rigning turkish Champions. His debut performance, capped by the assist, signals his readiness to make a major impact this season.

“First of all, I am very happy to be here. I came to this city for the first time. We met with our fans. What we experienced was a great feeling. It was a very important match,” Osimhen told the club’s official website.

“It was very valuable that we won the first match with a big difference. I am happy here. We want to continue like this and win every match.

“When I heard the interest during the transfer period, it was very important for me. I knew how big Galatasaray was, and how big the fan base was. It was exciting for me to come here.

“There was no question mark in my head. When I came here, it was the same as I thought. I know how important every match is. I will fight as much as I can,” he expressed.

At 25, Osimhen has already proven his value on the European stage, and his string start at Galatasaray suggests he’ll soon find the back of the net in the coming matches.
