Victor Osimhen has matched Nigerian legend Segun Odegbami on the all-time Super eagles scorer list, reaching a remarkable 23 goals for the national team.
The 25-year-old striker achieved this milestone during Nigeria’s AFCON 2025 qualifying match against Benin Republic, where he played a pivotal role in scoring a 1-1 draw.
The game, held at the Staple Felix Houphouet-Boigny in Cote d’Ivoire, saw Nigeria fall behind early after a defensive error by goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali.
