Notable content creator Oyemykke has advised Speed Darlington, also known as Akpi, to be thankful following his recent arrest, initiated by Grammy award-winning singer Burna Boy. Speed Darlington had gone missing for several days, with his mother confirming that the arrest was due to multiple defamatory videos he posted about the “African Giant.”
In a post addressing the situation, Oyemykke called the case a civil matter but warned that things could have escalated if Burna Boy had chosen to confront Darlington in person. He suggested that if Burna Boy had responded to Akpi’s provocations physically, the outcome could have been much worse.

Oyemykke further commented that Burna Boy showed restraint by involving the police, stating in Yoruba that “normally, Burna would have beaten him,” emphasizing how fortunate Speed Darlington was to avoid a more severe confrontation.
