Phyna, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7, revealed that she had to go through five auditions before finally being selected for the reality show.
During a discussion on MTV Base Sparks with Whitemoney, the winner of BBN Season 6, Whitemoney mentioned that Phyna used a script or behavior similar to his in the Big Brother house to enhance her game, and it worked for her.
Phyna responded by explaining that she had been auditioning for Big Brother for four years prior to being selected in the fifth year. Whenever she wasn’t chosen, she would avoid watching the show and feel envious.
She shared an incident from her time in the Big Brother house when she angrily exclaimed, “Who deyyyy?” She clarified that it was something she often said and was not aware that Whitemoney had also used the phrase in the previous season. Another housemate pointed it out to her, accusing her of copying Whitemoney. Phyna, however, didn’t let it bother her and jokingly said that as long as Whitemoney emerged as the winner, she didn’t mind being accused of copying him.
