Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has accused fellow artist David Adeleke, also known as Davido, of taking advantage of him for social media trends. In a video that has gained widespread attention, Portable claimed that Davido used their interactions in America to boost his own social media presence.
Portable alleged that despite promises of collaboration and financial support, Davido did not give him any money or record a song with him. He expressed disappointment, stating that Davido only took him out to eat and gifted him a pair of luxury shoes, but did not provide the promised $10,000.
“Davido ripped me, you invited me out for a dinner in America, but you did not give me a verse or money, you just used me to trend. You should have given me at least $10,000,” Portable said in the video.
The video has sparked discussions online, with many viewers reacting to Portable’s accusations and the dynamics of relationships within the music industry.
