Portable and Skepta Rock British Fashion Awards Red Carpet

Nigerian Streets Hop artist Habeeb “Portable” Oyegbileb enjoyed a delightful time alongside British-Nigerian rapper Skepta at the British Fashion Awards. Numerous videos circulating on the internet captured the controversial artist having a great time at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Monday, December 4, 2023.

Portable walked the red carpet with Skepta and their entourage, drawing attention and admiration from nearby fans. The humorous singer confidently posed on the red carpet, showcasing his distinctive style with a snazzy suit and his trademark blazer sans shirt.

In a particularly endearing clip, Portable beamed with joy after meeting singer Tiwa Savage, affectionately referring to her as his “Godmother.” Expressing admiration, he said, “I don see my godmother, my godmother. God bless you mami. I’m happy to see you and God bless you.”

Portable shared numerous photos and videos on his Instagram account, keeping his fans and followers updated on his experiences at the prestigious award show. In a viral clip, Portable sang one of his songs to Skepta, who joined in singing along with him inside a car.

Notable celebrities such as Anne Hathaway, Gwyneth Paltrow, Pamela Anderson, Charli XCX, Barbara Palvin, Rita Ora, Lily James, and more graced the red carpet at this year’s event. The award show, serving as a fundraiser, recognized and honored influential figures like Jonathan Anderson for Designer of the Year, Sarah Burton for the Special Recognition Award, and Martine Rose for British Menswear Designer of the Year. Renowned singer Sam Smith was honored with the Cultural Innovator Award.
