Nigerian singer Portable faced an attack at his home by uninvited visitors who were angered by his alleged failure to appear at a show despite being paid. A video shared on Portable’s Instagram story captured the chaotic scene as individuals argued during the raid on his house.
In the video, Portable was heard yelling, questioning the reason for being struck in the face amid the pandemonium. Another video showed the musician displaying a swollen face, evidently injured during the altercation.
To emphasize the severity of the situation, Portable posted a medical report expressing extreme pain and announced his intention to seek medical attention. Despite the distressing incident, he expressed gratitude to his Maker for protection, noting that his enemies had surrendered.
In his words: “Omo ologo surrendered by my enemies. Na God dey cover me ZAZUU. This people really do me bad but Thank God say man no be God. Am in pain on my way to the hospital.”
