Portable Criticizes Don Jazzy Over N100M Donation to Verydarkman

Controversial singer Portable has expressed frustration with music producer Don Jazzy after discovering that he donated ₦100 million to activist Verydarkman’s NGO. Portable took to Instagram, accusing Don Jazzy of neglecting him despite using his story as a motivational example for upcoming artists under the producer’s label.

Earlier, Verydarkman revealed that a single donor had credited his NGO with ₦100 million, and Don Jazzy later confirmed being the benefactor. Portable, reacting to the news, criticized the producer for not offering similar financial help to him, demanding that Don Jazzy stop using him as inspiration and instead support him directly.

The singer insisted that he deserves practical assistance, not just praise, and called on Don Jazzy to ask for his account number to provide real financial aid. Portable’s public outburst highlights underlying tensions about support and recognition within Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
