Power Restored in Lagos as TCN Fixes Transmission Line

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has restored bulk power supply to Eko and Ikeja Electricity Distribution Companies after repairing a fault on the 330kV Osogbo-Omotosho transmission line. The repair, completed on March 15, resolved a line break that had caused major disruptions in Lagos.

With the restoration, load shedding caused by the outage has ended, bringing relief to affected residents. TCN thanked the Lagos State government, electricity distributors, and consumers for their patience during the disruption.

The power cut, which started on March 9, had reduced electricity supply to Lagos by 350 megawatts. Now that the fault has been fixed, normal power transmission has resumed, improving supply across the state.
