Nollywood actress Rita Dominic responded on Sunday to the eviction of BBNaija contestant Uriel Oputa from the show, which took place on Sunday night.
Uriel Oputa, known from the ‘See Gobe’ season of BBNaija, and Seyi from the ‘Double Wahala’ edition, were both faced with eviction last week.
Among the housemates, these two received the fewest votes. Uriel received 2% of the votes from the audience, while Seyi secured 1.7%. However, Seyi managed to avoid eviction as two jury members cast their votes against Uriel.
Despite receiving more viewer votes than Seyi, Uriel had to leave the reality show due to the decision of the jury members.
Uriel’s departure stirred reactions from celebrities and fans of the show, who criticized the perceived unfairness of the jury’s influence and called for the elimination of the ‘Jury’ votes.
Expressing her thoughts on the outcome of the eviction show, Rita Dominic took to Twitter to express that Uriel’s eviction was unjust. She simply stated, “This isn’t fair.”
She also retweeted a post from Storyteller that questioned the authority of the show’s organizers to override the viewers’ votes, hinting at the dissatisfaction shared by many regarding the show’s decision.
