Salah Hints at Potential Liverpool Exit After Man City Victory

Premier League star Mohammed Salah has fueled speculations about his future with Liverpool following a key victory over Manchester City.

The Egyptian winger, who played a decisive role in Liverpool’s 2-0 triumph, hinted that Sunday’s game might have been his last against City while wearing the Red’s jersey.

Salah was instrumental in the win, assisting Cody Gakpo in the for the opening goal and converting a penalty to secure the result. His stellar performance highlighted his value to Liverpool, who have enjoyed a strong start to the season under new manager Arne Slot. However, Salah’s post-match remarks have left fans questioning his long-term commitment.

“Honestly… it’s in my head. Until now this is the last Man City game I will play for Liverpool, so I was just going to enjoy it,” Salah told Sky Sports’ Fabrizio Romano, sparking an intense debate among fans and pundits alike.

He added, “I will enjoy every second here. Hopefully, we will just win the league, and we will see what happens.”

Salah’s comments come amid lingering uncertainty about his contract, which is set to expire at the end of the season. Despite Liverpool’s attack with an impressive 12 goals and 11 assists across all competitions this term, there has been no official contract extension offered by the club.

The lack of clarity has left Salah expressing mixed feelings about his future, saying he feels “more out than in” regarding a possible stay at Anfield.

Liverpool supporters are now left waiting anxiously as speculations mount. With interest from both domestic and international clubs, including Major League Soccer (MLS), and the Saudi Pro League, the coming months will be crucial in determining Salah’s future and Liverpool’s plans for their star player.
