Senate Chairperson for Women Affairs, Ireti Kingibe, has revealed that she reached out to Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan regarding her sexual harassment allegation against Senate President Godswill Akpabio, but Natasha did not respond.
Speaking on Arise News, Kingibe stated that Natasha never discussed the matter with other female lawmakers. She noted that while she and other female senators have not faced harassment, they would stand by Natasha if she can provide evidence to support her claims.
Kingibe also pointed out that Natasha has received more privileges than other female senators, despite her allegations of unfair treatment. She mentioned attempting to contact Natasha twice before reaching out to her husband, but Natasha failed to return her calls.
