In a heartbreaking incident, a Nigerian skit maker identified as Churchill has lost his life while attempting to film a stunt for his video content. The tragic incident occurred during a stunt where Churchill, in an attempt to touch a basketball net, jumped and unfortunately fell, striking his head on the ground.
A viral video of the incident circulated online on Thursday, capturing the moment of the accident. Eyewitnesses promptly rushed Churchill to the hospital in an effort to save him, but, regrettably, he succumbed to his injuries.
#LadyResa, a lady on Instagram and Churchill’s schoolmate at Nasarawa State University, revealed in a chat with Findwhosabi Online that Churchill was bedridden with a neck collar following the incident. Despite the efforts to treat his injuries, Churchill sadly passed away last Sunday due to internal injuries sustained during the stunt.
The news of Churchill’s demise has sparked an outpouring of grief and condolences from friends, fellow skit makers, and netizens on various online platforms. Many expressed sorrow over the untimely loss and emphasized the risks associated with performing stunts, calling for skit makers to prioritize safety measures.

This tragic incident follows similar unfortunate occurrences in the entertainment industry, including the demise of Nollywood actress and skit maker Favour Daniels in a boat accident last year, as well as the passing of Port Harcourt skit maker Bros Jay Kay in a fatal motor accident. The incidents serve as a somber reminder of the importance of safety precautions in the pursuit of creative endeavors. May Churchill’s soul rest in peace, and may his untimely passing prompt a heightened awareness of safety within the creative community.
