Gunmen assaulted the Ikorodu region of Lagos State, killing at least two people and kidnapping a lady who has not yet been named.
It was reported that the tragic occurrence occurred on Wednesday at the Alagemo village in Igbelaara, off Ijede road in Ikorodu, when attackers entered the neighborhood.
According to the authorities, four members of a vigilante group were hurt in the incident.
In a video clip circulating on social media, a man voice can be heard raising the alarm about an occurrence in his region.
“Kidnapping is taking place right now in Igbe-Alagemo.” What exactly is going on here? They have kidnapped two individuals. “They’re in the bush, and they’re shooting,” the speaker added.
On Thursday, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident, stating that “two people died, four were injured, and one woman was kidnapped.”
