Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of Living Faith Church Worldwide, addressed his congregation during the “Beware The God Of Gold Is On The Hunt For Precious Souls” session at Breaking New Grounds Day 5, Morning Session.
He emphasized that love secures Divine presence, citing 1 John 4:16-18. Growing in love leads to being filled with God’s fullness, ensuring unstoppable breakthroughs. God’s presence, he stated, is an unstoppable force that nothing can hinder. Love connects one to God, rendering them unassailable and wrapped in His protection.
He then said, “We have the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God. Spiritual understanding is what makes the journey outstanding. That means, access to light from the word. That means spiritual illumination in the world. That means your supernatural and my supernatural change of story in life.”Why is it so necessary? The world is getting darker by the way, it takes light for anyone to have his way. The darkness coming on the world is the kind of darkness that came upon Egypt that could be felt.
He highlighted the importance of spiritual understanding and illumination from the Word. With the world becoming darker, light is essential for progress. He compared the approaching darkness to the intense darkness that afflicted Egypt.
He said, “It takes light to make a difference and the entrance of His Word gives light and understanding to the simple. Because in the last days, watch what will happen. So, God has a heavy revelation package for the endtime and we will require the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him to step into that realm.”
Bishop Oyedepo also mentioned an outpouring of wisdom and revelation in the last days. He emphasized the need for the spirit of wisdom and revelation, as true revelation brings revolutionary change to people’s lives.
He said, “That means, there will be that outpouring of wisdom and understanding in these last days. We are in the era of manifold wisdom that imparts on all areas of life. So, we all need the spirit of wisdom and revelation, we all need it now than ever. Every true revelation is revolutionary in nature. It changes people’s story supernaturally and dramatically.”
