President Bola Tinubu has expressed condolences to the family of the late Honourable Olaide Akinremi, who represented Ibadan North Federal Constituency. Akinremi, a two-term lawmaker and APC member, passed away on July 10, 2024, at 51 after a brief illness.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu commiserated with the National Assembly, friends, and associates of the deceased, praying for strength for his family and the repose of his soul.
Tinubu to Invest in Arts for Future Education
President Tinubu announced plans to invest in the arts to connect the past and present and educate future generations. Speaking at a stage production of “Abibatu Mogaji: An Opera,” held at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja, Tinubu emphasized the importance of arts and entertainment for youth education. The play, in honor of Tinubu’s late mother Hajiya Abibatu Mogaji, was produced by Ola Awakan and directed by Ahmed Yerima. Tinubu credited his late mother, a disciplinarian, for his life’s achievements.
