President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered the resignation of Mamman Ahmadu from his position as Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP). This development was announced on Saturday by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.
This directive is part of a broader reorganization of the public procurement system aimed at enhancing the agency’s efficiency and transparency. Ahmadu has been instructed to hand over his responsibilities to the most senior officer in the Bureau until a new Director-General is appointed.
President Tinubu expressed his gratitude to Ahmadu for his service and wished him success in his future endeavors.
