Tinubu Joins Eid-el-Kabir Prayers in Lagos

President Bola Tinubu participated in Eid Kabir prayers with fellow Muslims on Sunday at Dodan Barracks, Ikoyi, Lagos. The Eid-el-Kabir festival, celebrated on the 10th day of Dhual-Hijjah, saw the President arrive at the praying ground at 8:55 am, accompanied by top officials including Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila and National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu. Other dignitaries present were Lagos Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, former Lagos Governor Babatunde Fashola, businessman Aliko Dangote, and Senator Gbenga Ashafa.

In his message to the Muslim Ummah, President Tinubu emphasized the significance of Eid-el-Kabir, urging Nigerians to reflect on its themes of sacrifice, faith, and obedience. He acknowledged the sacrifices made by Nigerians over the past year and expressed optimism about the nation’s growth and development. He highlighted improvements in the economy and the revitalization of key sectors as signs of progress.

President Tinubu called on citizens to pray for the nation’s peace and stability while promoting unity and progress. He reiterated his administration’s commitment to ensuring the physical, social, and economic security of Nigerians, pledging to continue working towards these goals.
