President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on African leaders to take the initiative in solving the continent’s challenges. During his visit, Tinubu highlighted the importance of collaboration between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea. He stressed that Africa must reject the global perception of despair and instead work towards a peaceful and prosperous future. Tinubu also underscored the urgency of addressing issues like healthcare, tribalism, and regional conflicts to ensure sustainable progress across the continent.
President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea echoed Tinubu’s sentiments, emphasizing the need for stronger ties between the two nations. The leaders also signed an agreement on the Gulf of Guinea Gas Pipeline Project, marking a significant step in their bilateral relationship.
