The Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar III, officially declared the commencement of Ramadan after confirming the sighting of the crescent moon on February 28. In his message, he encouraged Muslims to pray for Nigeria’s stability and extend charity to those in need, ensuring that all can fully partake in the sacred month.
