Tiwa Savage Reveals Health Struggle

Nigerian Afrobeat sensation, Tiwa Savage, has candidly shared her health struggle, revealing challenges with her eyesight over the past two to three years. In a video posted on her Instagram page, the acclaimed singer provided an update on her visual health, acknowledging the difficulties she has been facing.

Tiwa explained that reading has become a challenge, with her vision becoming blurry. She humorously shared that she has resorted to taking screenshots of messages and zooming in on them using her camera to read them. The situation has escalated recently, prompting her to visit an Optician in London.

The Optician informed her that while her long-range vision is somewhat acceptable, her short-range vision poses a problem. To address the discomfort, Tiwa Savage has acquired a recommended pair of glasses. Playfully questioning whether she still looks sexy with the glasses on, she showcased her new luxury eyewear, emphasizing that “ABG (Ashawo Boyfriend/Girlfriend) don’t play.”

In her words: “Guys the last two or three years, I have been noticing that I will be squinting sometimes and when I read some stuff, it would be getting blurry… But for now, your girl is back and you know I needed to make some luxury and got myself a cartel pair because ABG don’t play. Do I still look sexy?”.

Tiwa’s openness about her health challenges resonates with fans, and her positive attitude towards embracing necessary solutions, like her stylish glasses, adds a touch of humor to the situation.
