Afrobeats icon Tiwa Savage revealed why she believes her breakthrough came later in life. Speaking on The Receipts podcast, the 44-year-old said she feels God delayed her success for a greater purpose.
Savage explained that starting her rise in her thirties allowed her to inspire others, especially women concerned about achieving their goals later in life. She believes her story can reassure young women that it’s never too late to succeed.

Reflecting on her journey, she said, “God delayed my success to bless others. If a 25-year-old sees I started in my thirties, she’ll know she still has time.”
