In a significant development at the presidential tribunal, Justice Haruna Tsammani, who leads the five-member panel, announced that judgments would be delivered separately on the various petitions.
Justice Tsammani clarified, “We will deliver judgments on the petitions separately, with petition number four being the first to be addressed.”
The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) had lodged the fourth petition, primarily challenging the qualification of Vice President Kashim Shettima, among other pertinent issues. This decision to deliver judgments separately underlines the tribunal’s commitment to addressing each petition’s merits and complexities individually.
