Onwuzurike will be responsible for leading the company’s go-to-market function and managing the expansion of Truecaller in Nigeria. Her role will also include collaborating with vendors, service providers, and local businesses to increase Truecaller’s presence in Nigeria.
Ogochukwu Onwuzurike has over a decade of experience in various sectors, including banking, payments, fintech, and SaaS. She has worked with organizations like GlaxoSmithKline, Philip Morris International, Interswitch, and MetaMap. Onwuzurike holds a degree in Communications from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Business from Emeritus Institute of Management.
Truecaller aims to leverage Onwuzurike’s expertise to expand its presence and provide its caller ID and spam-blocking services to users in Nigeria and other parts of Africa. The company has seen growth in the African market and aims to accelerate that growth by tapping into local knowledge and regional expertise.
