Can Emotional Attachment Be Harmful?

Emotional attachment is natural and can be a positive aspect of a relationship. However, excessive emotional attachment can become an unhealthy obsession. Signs of unhealthy emotional attachment include:

  1. Excessive Panic: Feeling panicked or anxious when you’re not with your partner.
  2. Rapid “Falling in Love”: Believing you’re in love after a very short time of knowing someone.
  3. Excessive Jealousy: Feeling jealous all the time, resulting in trust issues.
