In a swift response to alleged corporate governance infractions and non-compliance with regulatory requirements, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) dissolved the boards and managements of Union Bank of Nigeria, Keystone Bank, and Polaris Bank. The financial regulatory body wasted no time in appointing new executive directors to oversee the affairs of these deposit money banks.
