Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has made changes to the portfolios of two members of his cabinet. The changes were announced during the ongoing 2023 On-boarding retreat program for the State Executive Council and body of Permanent Secretaries.
Dr. Oreoluwa Finnih, formerly the Special Adviser for the Ministry of Health, has been reassigned as the Special Adviser to the Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Abiola Olowu, who was previously the Special Adviser for the Ministry of Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade, and Investment, has been reassigned as the Special Adviser for the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (Office of Mineral Resources).
These changes come after Governor Sanwo-Olu recently swore in 37 commissioners and special advisers for his second term in office. The Lagos State House of Assembly had confirmed the nominees, including Tolani Akibu, in the governor’s cabinet.
