UPDATED “Presidential Tribunal Approves Live Judgment Broadcast”

The Court of Appeal Headquarters has announced that the judgment on the presidential tribunal petitions will be aired live to promote transparency and openness, allowing Nigerians to watch the proceedings. The judgment is scheduled to be delivered on September 6, 2023.

The Chief Registrar of the Court of Appeal HQ, Umar Bangari, made this announcement in a statement, specifying the cases to be addressed during the judgment. The cases include those involving Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, the Allied Peoples Movement, and Abubakar Atiku.

Access to the courtroom on the judgment day will be strictly granted to accredited individuals, including counsel and representatives of political parties. The general public is encouraged to watch the proceedings on television, and cooperation is requested to ensure a smooth and trouble-free exercise.
