Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan has shared the story of his brief encounter with Mavin Records founder, Don Jazzy, who recently donated ₦100 million to support his new NGO. The initiative, launched to improve Nigeria’s public education system, raised over ₦35 million within 24 hours, with Don Jazzy’s generous contribution propelling the total to nearly ₦200 million.

In an Instagram post, VeryDarkMan expressed his gratitude, highlighting that Don Jazzy’s donation reflects faith in the project’s humanitarian goals. He wrote, “Let it be known that on the 16th of October 2024, Michael Collins Ajereh aka Don Jazzy donated ₦100 million to give public school kids advanced education with the aim of providing them a solid foundation.”
Despite their limited interaction, the activist noted that they had only met once, exchanging a quick handshake without engaging in a lengthy conversation. VeryDarkMan’s story has drawn widespread admiration for Don Jazzy’s commitment to impactful change through education.
