The abundance of options from dating apps hasn’t made us better at essential relationship skills like patience, imagination, forgiveness, and empathy. The challenges we face with one person will likely appear with others.
Rather than constantly seeking new connections, we should focus on understanding why it’s difficult to live with any one person. True love requires emotional maturity, and we need to recognize that despite many choices, there aren’t endless options. This realization can free us from the cycle of new encounters and guide us toward building a relationship based on mutual emotional maturity.
