May initiated divorce proceedings, citing adultery and seeking a substantial N100 million in damages after the tragic loss of their son. Additionally, she secured full custody of their children and obtained a restraining order, preventing Yul from entering their former marital home due to safety concerns.
During the court hearing, Yul allegedly denied being married to Judy, asserting that May is his sole wife. Blogger Cutie Juls reported Judy Austin’s agreement with Yul’s claims, emphasizing their surprise at discovering the alleged marriage through online platforms.
In an apparent move to address the situation, Yul has resumed wearing his wedding ring, adopting the moniker “Alhaji Y Edochie” during a visit to Lokoja, Kogi State, where he playfully declared himself the “sexiest man in Nigeria.”
