Nigerian singer Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has reacted to a fan who advised him to get married.
The fan shared the suggestion in a message, which Falz later reposted on his Instagram story on Sunday.
Responding to the message, Falz said he was not offended by the advice. He noted that marriage is widely valued in Nigeria and admitted that, as an entertainer, parts of his personal life often become a topic of interest for fans.
The singer added a playful comment about possibly trying marriage just to see how it would go.
He wrote: “It’s not your fault, I am the one who chose to be an entertainer, that means my life is your entertainment. I should just do a quick matrimonial experiment, let’s just see. I appreciate your suggestion.”
Earlier in 2025, Falz said he might choose not to announce his marriage publicly if he decides to get married.
His statement came after photos circulated online that many people believed showed his traditional marriage introduction. The images later turned out to be from a marriage-themed photoshoot and not an actual wedding.
The photos had earlier generated mixed reactions online, with some fans accusing the singer of misleading the public.
Falz later clarified that people often make quick assumptions about his personal life and explained that even if he eventually gets married, he may decide to keep it private.
