Seyi Makinde may officially declare his presidential ambition during a political rally scheduled to hold at Mapo Hall on Thursday.

The event, tagged “Unity Mega Rally Ibadan 2026,” is expected to mark the official launch of Makinde’s anticipated 2027 presidential campaign.

The rally is also expected to feature a political alliance between the Peoples Democratic Party and the Allied Peoples Movement in Oyo State.

Several political figures are expected to be unveiled during the event, including governorship, senatorial and legislative aspirants contesting under the APM platform ahead of the 2027 elections.

Sources within the PDP said preparations for the rally have intensified, with political stakeholders and supporters expected to gather in Ibadan for the highly anticipated event.
