Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has sent a strong message to Bayern Munich ahead of their anticipated UEFA Champions League clash next month. The French star expressed confidence that Real Madrid has what it takes to overcome the German giants.
Mbappe made the remarks while speaking on the Telefoot program after scoring France’s opening goal in a 2–1 friendly victory over Brazil in Boston. The forward is enjoying an impressive second season with Real Madrid, scoring close to 40 goals across all competitions, including 13 goals in nine Champions League matches.
Despite talk about his focus on the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Mbappe insisted his priority remains with Real Madrid. He noted that both teams are in strong form but believes the Spanish side has the quality needed to defeat Bayern in the upcoming Champions League encounter.
