Media personality Teddy A has criticized Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde following the recent kidnapping of schoolchildren and teachers in the state, expressing concern over the rising insecurity affecting communities.

He alleged that despite receiving large annual security allocations, the government has failed to protect lives, adding that political ambitions may be distracting leadership from addressing urgent security challenges.

The comment follows a deadly attack in Oriire Local Government Area where two people were killed and several pupils and teachers abducted, with one kidnapped teacher later reportedly killed, deepening public concern over insecurity in the state.
