A member of the House of Representatives, Abdulmumin Jibrin, has said President Bola Tinubu is deeply concerned about the growing cases of schoolchildren abductions across Nigeria. He revealed that officials at the Presidential Villa were saddened by the continued captivity of the victims.
Speaking during an interview on Arise Television, Jibrin sympathised with the families of the abducted children and those who lost loved ones to kidnappers and bandits. He assured Nigerians that the government is committed to tackling insecurity and securing the release of the victims.
According to the lawmaker, Tinubu is doing everything possible to address the security challenge and ensure the safe return of the abducted children. He added that the President remains fully focused on bringing the victims back to their families.
