The APC’s National Women Leader, Mary Alile, has dismissed Peter Obi’s claims that his life is being threatened. Obi made the allegation after APC spokesman Felix Morka criticized his New Year message. Alile described the claims as baseless and an attempt to divert attention.
She argued that Morka’s remarks were public and clear, containing no threats. Alile accused Obi of misrepresenting the situation for political sympathy and urged Nigerians to focus on national development under President Bola Tinubu.
Reaffirming APC’s commitment to democracy and free speech, Alile expressed full support for Morka. She labeled Obi’s statements as a distraction from internal issues within his party and called for mature political discourse.
