Former Secretary to the Government of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, has expressed disappointment over betrayal within the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and its Kwankwasiyya faction, despite his unwavering support. Speaking to young supporters upon returning from the Umrah pilgrimage, he thanked them for their loyalty but lamented the lack of trustworthiness among individuals he once stood by.
Dr. Bichi revealed that despite his contributions, he felt let down by those he trusted. “Alhamdulillah, I have completed my work safely. Unfortunately, we found ourselves among people who cannot be trusted,” he said. Calling for patience, he assured his supporters that he would unveil significant evidence, including documents, audio, and video recordings, at the right time to expose the betrayal.
Pledging to reveal the truth, Dr. Bichi urged his followers to remain steadfast. He described the betrayal as deceitful and vowed to expose it to protect others from similar experiences. “The time will come when we will speak out and reveal everything,” he assured, emphasizing his commitment to justice and transparency.
