Counter-terrorism summit: Tinubu holds meeting with African leaders in Abuja

African leaders have been invited by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the Africa Counter-Terrorism Summit, which will be held in Abuja in April.

The President’s Senior Special Assistant for Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, revealed this in a tweet sent from his X account.
Onanuga claims that Tinubu made the offer during his speech at the African Union Summit on Saturday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
According to him, the summit’s objectives go beyond discussing military and law enforcement responses to terrorism.

He said that the conference will address all of the core issues that lead to violent extremism, including the spread of vile beliefs, poverty, and limited political access.
