Nollywood actress Didi Ekanem has voiced her criticism of Rema for the way he paid tribute to his late colleague Mohbad.
According to reports, Rema received backlash after sharing a screenshot of a message he had received from the deceased musician.
While grieving for Mohbad, Rema admitted that he had overlooked a message from the late singer on his Instagram profile from 2020, where Mohbad expressed his admiration for Rema’s song “Peace of Mind.” Rema expressed regret that he didn’t see the message until after Mohbad’s passing, and it’s now too late to respond.
Didi Ekanem pointed out Rema’s ability to disregard Mohbad’s direct messages while not doing the same with Selena Gomez, an American singer and actress. In a sarcastic tone, she congratulated him, suggesting that he handled the situation commendably.
