Ebonyi: Wife pushes husband from 2-storey building

A middle-aged pregnant housewife in Ebonyi State tragically killed her husband by pushing him from a two-story building on Tuesday morning.

The victim, Mr. Nwoga Maduabuchi, was from Akparata village in the Igbeagu community in the Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. He lived in Abakaliki, the state capital, and was allegedly married to the suspect, his second wife, who came from the Uburu community in the Ohaozara Local Government Area.

According to a security guard who talked to reporters under condition of anonymity, the event happened while the victim and his second wife were fighting about a family matter.

The source claims that the man is only a victim of domestic abuse.

“He was married to two women. The state’s Ohaozara Local Government Area is home to the second wife, Uburu, but the first wife is from Izzi Local Government Area.

“This is a family issue. However, the second got so furious about it that she acted in that manner—pushing her husband off the two-story building. That is the pinnacle of it. That is the pinnacle of immorality.
Another trustworthy source, who also begged not to be identified in public, stated that while the suspect was significantly pregnant, she and her late husband occasionally fought, with the additional comment that “the second wife was constantly nagging.”

Ogo Mike, a different community source, called the event appalling and said the victim was his friend’s older brother.
He claims that he was unaware of the incident’s location in Abakaliki and hence was unable to determine what transpired.
