The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency, or DSVA, has welcomed Ademola Oladimeji’s life sentence for sexually assaulting his three children.
In a statement issued on Monday on its verified X profile @LSdsva, the agency welcomed Oladimeji’s conviction and sentencing.
According to NAN, on Monday, Justice Abiola Sholadoye of the Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court sentenced Oladimeji to three concurrent life terms.

Responding, the DSVA stated that justice had been served.
It was noted that the children’s mother had reported the case to the agency.
“The mother reported the matter to DSVA after the children, ages five, seven, and nine, complained of pain in their private parts.”
“They were then directed to the Mirabel Centre for medical evaluation. The medical report indicated that each of the girls had been sexually assaulted.
“We commend the family of the survivors even as we reiterate the Lagos State’s zero tolerance stance and insist that there is help for survivors,” the statement said.
According to the DSVA, the wheel of justice is spinning, and those who committed the crimes will be held accountable.
NAN reported that the prosecution had five witnesses, including the three girls, their mother, and the investigating police officer.
The judge determined that the testimony of prosecution witnesses was believable, however the defendant’s statement did not add up because he was attempting to disassociate himself from the claims.
The judge ruled that the children were sexually molested through penetration, and that the prosecution showed beyond a reasonable doubt that the prisoner committed the offense.
