“Ganduje: APC Confident in Keeping Kogi Governor Seat”

As the Kogi State governorship election approaches, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Umar Ganduje, has expressed confidence in the party’s ability to retain control of the state. He made this assurance while addressing reporters in Sokoto.

Dr. Ganduje emphasized that the APC is diligently working on strategies to secure victory in Kogi State. He noted that Kogi has historically been a stronghold for the APC, and he believes that with the current governor’s leadership and achievements, the party is well-positioned for success.

He stated, “You are aware that Kogi is part of the progressive [states], and we have been winning the state before now, so winning the state will not in any way be difficult for us. The governor is in charge in the state, and I know with him and his achievements in office so far, we are good to go.”

Regarding the achievements of Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto in his first 100 days in office, Dr. Ganduje praised the governor’s accomplishments as unprecedented. He commended Governor Aliyu Sokoto’s proactive approach and commitment to his duties, citing examples such as the distribution of palliatives to flood victims and the inauguration of newly constructed roads.

Dr. Ganduje highlighted that Governor Aliyu Sokoto’s plans and initiatives are yielding tangible results, including various ongoing road projects. He expressed confidence in the governor’s leadership and vision for Sokoto State.
