Incident Details: A graduate from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Anuoluwapo, working as a gambling agent, was allegedly shot dead by a police officer in Imala, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Police Confirmation: Ogun State Police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident and stated that all involved parties are being questioned as part of the investigation.
Circumstances: Witnesses claim the officers were under the influence of alcohol and were either conducting a search or pursuing a suspect when Anuoluwapo was shot. The officers allegedly fled the scene, requesting reinforcements to escape. The state’s police commissioner has initiated a formal inquiry.
