Ibom Air Suspends Flights Amid Nationwide Labour Strike

As the nationwide strike led by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) continues, Ibom Air has announced the suspension of its flights. The airline cited the ongoing labour strike as the reason for the disruption to its flight operations, expressing regret for the inconvenience caused to passengers.

In a statement, Ibom Air stated, “We regret to inform our esteemed passengers that, due to the ongoing nationwide labour strike, we are unable to dispatch any of our scheduled flights to your various destinations.” The airline emphasized the safety and well-being of passengers and staff as its highest priority and assured customers of resuming normal operations once the strike is called off.
