The Kano State Police Command has issued a warning to residents in the vicinity of the Customs Training College, Goron Dutse, informing them not to be alarmed by the sound of gunshots in the coming days. The warning comes as the training college conducts a seven-day shooting range practice.

The police spokesman stated that the shooting range practice will take place at Hawan Kalibawa, Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area, Kano State, from September 11th to September 17th, 2023, between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM daily.

Residents of specific areas were advised to refrain from panicking when they hear gunshots and to keep away from the area during the exercise. The purpose of the warning is to prevent unnecessary alarm and ensure public safety during the training exercise.
