Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), has harshly criticized both the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Speaking at the NNPP’s National Executive Committee meeting, Kwankwaso labeled the APC as unruly and the PDP as a dead party, urging Nigerians to abandon both for a better future.
He accused the APC of losing touch with the country’s economic struggles and rated their performance as very poor, particularly in addressing security and poverty. Kwankwaso also described the PDP as fractured and incapable of winning future elections.
Kwankwaso emphasized that Nigerians must turn away from both parties if they seek true political and economic progress, calling the upcoming 2027 general election a crucial opportunity for change.
