Labour Party Appoints ‘Obidient’ Members to New Directorate

ABUJA, NIGERIA – The Labour Party has appointed eight members from the ‘Obidient’ movement to oversee the operations of its newly established Directorate. This initiative aims to engage millions of youths and integrate the ‘Obidient’ family into the party’s structure.

The Directorate will be led by Marcel Ngogbehei as Director, with A.J.U Elumelu, Mariam Ismaila, Chukwuemeka Gerald Okafor, Angel Innocent, Tony Ashekomeh Jnr, Emeka Ezechi, and Josiah Omenuwoma serving as members. The inauguration is set for June 6 at the NEC Hall, National Secretariat in Utako, Abuja.

Key responsibilities of the Directorate include coordinating the registration and integration of ‘Obidient’ members, facilitating Diaspora participation, handling complaints, and managing party dues and donations to ensure financial membership.
