Recalling the traumatic incident on social media, she explained how, at age seven or eight, she was singled out in Sunday school and pressured to “confess” to being a witch, a label she didn’t understand at the time.
The woman shared that her mother confronted the church upon hearing about the incident, demanding answers for the distress caused to her child. Reflecting on the experience, she described how the episode left her fearful and ultimately turned her away from church, believing religious leaders to be “wicked clowns” for targeting children.
Her post has sparked empathy from others who’ve faced similar experiences in religious settings.
