Suspected thieves stole two cows valued at ₦1.9 million from the Celestial Church of Christ Testimony Parish in Egbeda, Oyo State. The cows, purchased for the church’s annual adult harvest Thanksgiving on November 17, went missing on November 11, days before the celebration.
In a Facebook post, the church revealed that the cows had been taken from the church premises where they were tied. Despite efforts to locate the animals, there’s been no success so far, prompting the church to seek help from the congregation and public.
The church appealed for prayers and any helpful information on recovering the stolen cows. They asked anyone with details or resources to reach out to the parish shepherd to ensure the harvest celebration remains joyful and complete.
